Posture
Tall, with a slight lean from the ankles.
Run tall, as if a thread were pulling the top of your head up. Keep your gaze forward, about 10–20 metres ahead, not at your feet.
A slight forward lean should come from the ankles, with the body in one line, not from bending at the waist.
When you tire, hips tend to drop and the back to round. A quick check every few kilometres helps: tall, shoulders down, eyes forward.
Tall, eyes up, lean from the ankles.
Quick check .
Where should the forward lean come from?
Body in one line, eyes forward 10–20 metres ahead.
