Arms and shoulders
Relaxed arms help the legs keep rhythm.
Bend your elbows to roughly 90 degrees and swing the arms forward and back, without crossing in front of your body.
Keep shoulders low and loose and hands relaxed, as if holding a crisp without breaking it. Tension in the hands travels up to the neck.
On hills and in sprints, a stronger arm drive helps the legs; on easy runs, let the arms swing naturally.
Loose hands, low shoulders, arms forward and back.
