How long shoes last

When to replace your running shoes.

Most running shoes are worth replacing somewhere between 500 and 800 km. The foam slowly loses its cushioning long before the upper looks worn.

Signs: creases in the midsole, a bald outsole, or legs that feel more beaten up after the same runs.

Race shoes with light foams can last less. mintmural counts your km and reminds you around 600 km.

Track the km, not the months.
